Join us for an amazing auction dedicated to vintage and antique quilts and related textiles. This will be the first of our auctions to include textiles from the Estate of Laura Fisher. New York based Laura Fisher, was a world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author. Her antique quilts were exhibited all over the globe, she made appearances with Martha Stewart, and was published in several magazines over the years. In offering these textiles for sale we hope to continue to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.

Vintage Trip Around the World Quilt
Vintage 1930s Trip Around the World quilt in soft pastels typical of the time period. Measures 93 x 93 inches. Quilt consists of 4761 1.25 inch squares. Entirely hand pieced and hand quilted, mostly prints, many possibly feed sacks. Backing is a green cotton solid. In very good condition with one small repair, one small separation in the binding along one edge and one spot on back that does not come through to the front. Also note that 1/4 of quilt appears to be faded in the photo, but is actually quite subtle. We do our best to describe all items in detail and provide pictures. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! We will provide extra pictures, or can schedule an in person or video conference preview at your convenience. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
