Antique Robbing Peter to Pay Paul Crib or Reel Quilt from c1880s measuring 44x45 inches. Medallion lay out with center consisting of 25 pink and green Robbing Peter to Pay Paul Blocks, a sawtooth frame, and a printed stripe outer border. This quilt was part of Laura Fisher's estate. Laura Fisher was a New York based world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author, and in offering these textiles for sale we hope to honor her legacy of style and scholarship. On her website, she notes that this quilt was collected in PA. In very good condition, some overall age discoloration in the pink and green blocks.
