Antique c1880s Crazy Quilt
Circa 1880s antique Crazy Quilt measuring 42x56 inches. Center is comprised of 12 crazy quilt blocks made of silks and velvets with lots of hand embroidered motifs and a couple commercial woven embroidered jacquard silks. The border is pieced and also embroidered. There are botanicals, birds, a dimensional spider, a rooster, butterfly, cat, frog, and more. The edge has small little velvet pompoms , several are missing. Otherwise it is in very good condition, no shattered silks. It is not quilted, but, tied. Back is a red faille or taffeta. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $20 is a domestic shipping estimate. I will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
