Antique Redwork Quilt - Signed and Dated 1919 - Antique redwork quilt with 1917 and 1919 dates, and the name Evelyn Caroline Schrader embroidered in the center. It measures 71x88 inches. 99 blocks, measuring 8x8 inches, set straight 9 by 11, each with hand embroidered Redwork. Motifs include animals, botanicals, fruit, geometric motifs and more. Mousie and Fido are especially cute. There is also a block with 2 crossed flags and Canada. There are kewpie dolls, and Old Dutch Cleanser, horseshoes, every time you look at it, you will find something new and interesting! It is hand embroidered, machine pieced, and hand quilted, but with no batting. In very good condition with just a couple of spots and one area with dye migration. White cotton reverse.
