Set of Late 19th Century Instruments - Set of Late 19th Century Instruments. 1 Civil War-era Cavalry Bugle, c. 1860s, copper and brass bugle. 1 Lowe & Campbell M307 English Fox Hunting Horn. From the now long defunct Lowe & Campbell Athletic Goods Company which was a sporting goods manufacturer and retailer based in Kansas City, MO until it was bought out by Wilson Sporting Goods in 1931. It is made of brass with possibly a zinc coating. It is marked on the top front of the horn with the Lowe and Campbell logo, the model number M307, and Made In England beneath that. It works beautifully and shines very nice, with no corrosion at all. Dimensions - Largest to Smallest: H 12 x W 7 x D 4 inches, H 6.5 x W 2 x D 1 inches Condition: Good, some signs of wear and denting Provenance: Private Texas Collection
