Texas Confederate Marked Steel Canteen - Texas Confederate Marked Steel Canteen. A period metal canteen with convex front and back, soldered at seams. Front with large white Texas 5-point star marked with large CS, center of star marked Texas Infantry H. Sides with two sheet metal fasteners with steel loops, period and possibly original leather strap. Good condition, many scattered dents on both sides with matching wear to paint, portions of star and markings show some wear, some areas of white star have rust underneath, possibly painted years ago, or star with markings added later.
