Emilia Castillo Silver Plated Vase and Plate Featuring Malachite Salamanders - A pairing of silver-plated pieces by Emilia Castillo.  The footed vase features three salamanders composed of malachite acting as the feet of the vase.  Dimensions: H 11 x W 7.5 x D 7.5 inches A small serving plate featuring a single malachite salamander on the edge.  Dimensions: H 2.5 x W 9.25 x D 9.25 inches They are both marked on the underside with Emilia's maker's mark and plated information.  Condition: Signs of age, but no signs of physical damage or repair Provenance: Purchased in Mexico by a Texas Collector
