Pair of Heavily Decorated French Style Commodes - This is a pair of white wooden dressers with black and gilded legs. The trimmings of the drawers are gilt along with the trimming around the surface of the dressers. The top is black resin and the legs are decorated with gilded carved wood figures. The feet feature a twisted design resembling a lion's paw. The finials are rhinestone accented and the faces of the drawers have a white crocodile skin appearance. They measure H 37 W 52 D 23 inches. Condition: The drawers have some catch when opening and closing on one of the pieces. Some of the wooden accent legs are moveable and may need future repair to maintain sturdiness.
