Antique Adams Painted Wood Corner Table - Archer Cowley & Co. - Beautiful antique Adams-style wooden corner table featuring hand-painted grape and leaf designs.  On verso, there is a tag that reads Archer Cowley and Co, Depository, Oxford.  Archer, Cowley, and Co. was established in 1876 in Oxford, England. They advertised that they could move furniture to any part of the country or abroad and that nothing was too small or too large. They also stored household furniture and effects for them in their specially constructed warehouses which were known as the best in the country. They remained in business until the late 1980s.  Measuring H 28.5 W 22 D 22.75 inches Condition: The top surface is heavily marked with some small scratching to the wood. The front-facing hand-painted designs show craquelure. Some loss to the wood and paint throughout the piece as well.
