Rare 1969 Rolex Submariner Owned by Philippe Cousteau - This rare watch was owned by Philippe Cousteau, son of Jacques Cousteau. It is reference 1665. Serial number 2117461. Circa 1969.  Bracelet is 93150 and the caseback is IV67. Provenance: Two owners. Philippe and the current owner.  Received as a gift from Phillipe in 1973 after a deep sea dive in the Mediterranean Sea. Early model with the small helium release valve.   This is a Double Red line. This type shows a pink hue because the early models were not printed with a white background to make the red pop and sustain.
