18th Century French Louis XV Buffet a Deux Corps Armoire
Large 18th century French Louis XV buffet à deux corps made from walnut with fruit wood inlays. The top has a chapeau de gendarme crown above a beautifully hand carved ribbon. Hinged doors with original hardware and floral marquetry. The bottom opens to one shelf and has an elaborately carved apron and large snail toes. The top opens to one low shelf. The lower section has a moulded edge carved with star patterns.
Measuring H 102 W 59 D 26 in
Wear consistent with age.
