Kim Seyesnem Obruzt is a hugely successful artist from the Hopi Pueblo, representing the Hopi culture through her sculptures.
This piece represents a young girl wearing a traditional hairstyle and wearing a traditional adult Hopi cape. The gourd shape represents the oldest utilitarian vessel.
Purchased by private collector directly from the artist.
