The images were originally created on individual paintings with a dark background in 2013. Later, Sandra transferred the idea and recreated each image on two separate, yet exactly the same shapely cut plywoods and combined the images back to back in order to create an even more drastic contrast.
This piece was in the Jonathan Levine Gallery's Trifecta exhibition from June 27 to July 25 in 2015 in New York. From Sandra's Private Collection.
