William Charles Palmer (1906 - 1987) Rare vintage (1974) original abstract expressionism drawing, piece measures 6” x 7” and 15” x 14” with the mat. Depicts a minimalist landscape scene, likely of Clinton, New York, where the artist lived. Well done with vigorous yet pleasing lines and nice use of color. Medium is crayon on paper. Signed at the base and inscribed in the margins and again on the verso. Entitled “June Evening”. Retains gallery label on verso. Drawing in Excellent overall condition. Clean and crisp. Mat shows foxing/spotting. Ready for framing. Eye catching and appealing. Displays handsomely.
