John Fulton Folinsbee (1892 - 1972) Watercolor on paper depicting beached boat with sign that states "Private, No Trespassing", signed lower left, piece measures 9.5 x 13 and 15.5 x 19.5 inches w/frame. John Fulton "Jack" Folinsbee was an American landscape, marine and portrait painter, and a member of the art colony at New Hope, Pennsylvania. He is best known today for his impressionist scenes of New Hope and Lambertville, New Jersey, particularly the factories, quarries, and canals along the Delaware River.
