Robert Hamilton (1877 - 1954) Ireland/ American - Robert Hamilton (1877 - 1954) Oil on Panel, signed lower left, measures 12 x 16 inches. Hamilton was born in County Down, Ireland, studied in London and Paris, and went on to become both a painter and a teacher. His memberships included the Solma Club and Kit Kat Club and his works include a mural in Public School 43 in the Bronx, New York City. Hamilton lived in New York City and had a summer studio at Lanesboro, Massachusetts. Condition: The absence of a condition report does not imply an object is free of defects.
