Jose Luis Posada lithography on paper, titled "Suenos", measures 24 x 18 inches w/ frame. José Luis Posada (Asturias, February 10, 1929- San Antonio de los Baños, January 25, 2002) Cartoonist, illustrator, draftsman, printmaker, stage designer and Spanish painter in exile in Cuba. In addition, he made ceramics, painted landscapes in oil, pastel, and even large murals. The Pablo de la Torriente Brau Cultural Center owes the curation of several Posada exhibitions, among them, Trazos y trozos del Caimán, Top hat and Mitos, which included lithographs and collagraphs of his graphic work, much of which the artist will develop in the Experimental Graphic Workshop in Havana
