Carson Sutherlin Davenport (1908 - 1972) American - Carson Sutherlin Davenport (1908 - 1972) Watercolor on Paper, Signed, Measures ( 13 x 20 inches ) w/frame ( 22.5 x 29.5 inches ) Carson Davenport taught art for a number of years at Averett College, Danville, VA, and his works hang in the library. Many individuals in the Danville area own his paintings. He painted in watercolors and oils. Davenport spent summers on Chincoteague Island, VA, and many of his paintings were of scenes of the island landscapes. Condition: Good Condition
