Edith M W Howes (late 19th century) - Edith M W Howes (late 19th century) Watercolor on Paper, Signed, Measures ( 7 x 15 inches ) w/frame ( 15 x 23 inches ) Edith Howes, exhibited her oil paintings and watercolors regularly at the Boston Art Club (1884-98) and only one year at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (1896-97). Howes was a member of the Copley Society and the Boston Water Color Club. She focused on landscapes, local genre and views of Boston. Howes traveled to Brittany in the late 1880s and visited England in the 1890s. Condition: Good Condition
