Thieme became very well known for his seascapes and shore scenes. He established the Thieme School of Art in Rockport, of which he was the director. Oil on canvas, signed lower right, and housed molded giltwood frame. Dimensions: 25 in H × 30 in W, actual; 29 %” H × 34 ¼” W, framed.Came from a private collection inMassachusetts.
