Grace Huntley Pugh (1912 - 2010) American - Grace Huntley Pugh (1912 - 2010) Oil on Masonite, Signed on Verso, Measures ( 12 x 11 inches) w/frame (13 x 12 inches) Artist and Community Activist Grace Huntley Pugh of Rockport, MA and Mamaroneck, NY died peacefully at her home, on Halibut Point in Rockport on Sunday, August 29, 2010 surrounded by family. She is survived by her daughter, Gigi Pugh Sundstrom, son-in-law Jimmie L. Sundstrom, and her twin grandchildren, Grace and Grant. Her husband, Cresson, predeceased her. She was 97 and one of the longest standing members of the Rockport Art Association with a membership extending back to 1944 and a member of the American Watercolor Society. Her oil and watercolor paintings have been exhibited in national, regional and solo shows. They are in numerous public and private collections. Grace Huntley Pugh was born on September 25, 1912 in Schenectady, NY to Grace Lake and Grant Huntley and was raised in Rockville Centre on Long Island Condition: The absence of a condition report does not imply an object is free of defects.
