William F. Krondorf (1878 - 1968) German/ American - William F. Krondorf (1878 - 1968) Watercolor signed lower right. Piece measures (9.5 x 13) and (19.5 x 25) inches w/ frame. From Germany, William Krondorf became a painter in watercolor of landscapes of New Jersey, Florida and his native Germany. He arrived in New York City in 1904, and studied commercial art, photography and lithography at the Art Students League. He operated a photoengraving business in New York, making reproductions of famous paintings. Condition: The absence of a condition report does not imply an object is free of defects.
