Walter L. Chaloner (1852 - 1922) American - Walter L. Chaloner (1852 - 1922) Watercolor on paper, Signed lower right, measures (9 x 14) and (16.5 x 22) inches w/ frame.A graduate of Worcester (Massachusetts) Polytechnic school and a prize winning student, he also studied abroad. Mr. Chaloner was director of exhibits in the Department of Agriculture for several years, following his successful career as a painter in Boston, where he was an active member of the Appalachian Club.
