1940s Sunshine and Shadow Log Cabin Quilt - American Log Cabin quilt, circa 1940s, in a Sunshine and Shadow variation, composed of concentric strips of assorted striped, checked, and patterned cotton fabrics surrounding red centers, arranged to create contrasting light and shadow effects. The quilt is finished with a wide pink border featuring an elaborate repeating quilted design. Hand quilted. 76 1/2 x 78 3/4 inches. With expected minor wear and condition consistent with age and use.
