2 Mexican Saltillo Weavings - Includes saltillo wrap with large intricate and colorful center diamond motif and an especially finely woven intricate early saltillo serape. Saltillo refers to a type of textile style inspired or originated form the Mexican city of Saltillo. This style is known for vibrant colors and geometric designs, specifically the diamond motifs and colorful bands. A serape is a traditional brightly colored shawl work over the shoulders. The wrap measures 19” x 53” long including fringe. Serape measures 36-1/2” x 72” long. Both have wear consistent with age and use. The serape has fraying aong the edges.
