Tsukioka Yoshitoshi (Edo1839-1892) , Bijin & Genre Scenes, c.1870, 9x6 3/8”, woodcut in color on laid paper, COA, Includes appraisal for $1,950.00
Yoshitoshi has widely been recognized as the last great master of the ukiyo-e genre of woodblock printing and painting. Beautifully framed and matted in deeply beveled raw silk mat edged with gold fillet.
