ANTIQUE HANDMADE CRAZY QUILT 1890
In silks, velvets, and other fabrics with hand embroidery including monograms and date of 1890 on the corners. A variety of embroidery stitches. Some hand embroidery of flowers. A fine example of turn of the century American quilt making. The back is in an unusual printed cotton on a yellow ochre background with gradated leaf designs going from pale peach through orange to dark brown.
Some damage to various fabrics. Small amount of staining.
