Published in 1990. 82 Amish quilts beautifully displayed with commentary by Robert Hughes. Originally collected by Douglas Tompkins to decorate the bare walls of the new corporate ESPRIT building in San Francisco in 1971, and internationally known collection of Amish Quilts. Portions were for several years displayed at Central Square in Lancaster, PA. HCDJ, and slipcase.
