ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This estate acquired yellow gold ring holds an intriguing 1.60 carat solitaire, rose-cut diamond set in a platinum head with claw prongs and cathedral shoulders set with round, faceted and brilliant-cut diamonds. The ring shank is approximately 1.2mm fashioned from electronically tested 14 karat yellow gold. The head and shoulder portions of the ring electronically test as platinum.  The rose-cut diamond originated in the 1400's, but started trending during the Georgian era (1700's).  The jewelry market is currently undergoing a ”Rose-Cut Revival”!  Its popularity is partially due to the flashes of light reflect from the top facets and the mirror-like appearance of the flat bottom, not to mention the vintage appeal.  Please inquire about sizing, if needed, and allow an additional 10 days for shipping if we resize it.
