ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This yellow gold ring was custom-created to hold this uniquely-cut blue stone.  Richard Strellman designed ”The Original Lighthouse Lens” cut.  Supposedly, the gemstones cut in this style start at nearly 10x their final size.  This gemstone is approximately 10.00 carats, and is cut to resemble the ”fresnel” lens that sends a direct beam of bright light over the water.
