ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Designed by Oscar Friedman, an emerald-cut (with truncated corner, making it octagonal) is bezel-set with a  yellow gold bezel and bezel cup, in a white gold ring.  The fitting diamond halo has trimmed-out corners, and a continuous milgrain edging that continues to the diamond shoulders.  The ring has ornate and supportive galleries.  The Oscar Friedman hallmark appears on the inside of the ring shank.  This emerald, like most emeralds, has inclusions, some of which contain schist and reach the surface.
