This is a remarkable statement necklace that features a 30.99 carat, pear-shaped, faceted bezel-set amethyst in a 14 karat white gold pendant that is adorned with 1.81 carats of green sapphires and rubies at the head and point of the gemstone. There is .59 carats of round, brilliant-cut, G-H color, SI1-SI2 clarity diamonds in the halo and the ribbon bail. The finishing touch is the approximate 3 mm hand-applied black enamel that frames the glimmering diamond halo. The pendant is approximately 2" long and 13 mm thick and is suspended from a 14 karat white gold swivel-link chain by a solid bail hinged to a fixed jump ring. The 14 karat white gold chain is 18" long and the pendant is supported with an ornately swirled side gallery that bears the Oscar Friedman hallmark. This pendant is certified and appraised for $16,227.00 estimated retail replacement value.
