Bidspirit auction | A pair of throwaway data

A pair of throwaway data in a decorative frame. Dimensions: 28x28 cm Menschelach or Menschelach - ”little people”; Hebrew: pupils. The menschlech are metal installations attached to the walls of buildings built at the beginning of the 20th century, which were used to hold the wooden shutters of the building's windows. The shutters were placed on both sides of the window, parallel to the window sill, whose role was to keep the shutters open even when a strong wind blows, and to prevent them from slamming. Today you can see Menschlech in restored historical buildings.
