Emile Galle Early 20th Century Art Nouveau Inlaid - Emile Galle signed art nouveau two tier occasional table circa 1900. The fruitwood table is inlaid with art nouveau curvilnear designs of iris and other floral motifs. The table is nicely refinished and measures approximately 26” in length, 16 inches in width and stands 28”in height. French designer Emile Galle is considered to be one of the driving forces behind the Art Nouveau movement. His artwork lives on in almost every museum around the world, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Smithsonian, and the Musee du Louvre in Paris. Condition: Commensurate with age.
