Andre Masson (French, 1896-1981) After: Untitled, from Body and Heart, 1968. Etching in black on white wove paper. Signed and numbered (115/130) in pencil below. Verso is marked with numbers in pencil.
Andre Masson was a French cubist and surrealist painter who was one of the pioneering figures and biggest proponents of automatic drawing. Many of his works were completed under altered states of consciousness.
