Edgar Degas (French, 1834-1917): Danseuse Assise. Limited edition etching and gravure print. Unsigned, unframed. Printed by Floury et Cie in association with Ambroise Vollard, published in edition of 60 in 1918.

Edgar Degas was a prominent impressionist painter best known for his depictions of dancers. Initially trained as an academic history painter, Degas soon found inspiration in modern life and became known as the classical painter of modern life.

7.5 x 10 inches paper; 6.5 x 9 inches plate.

L.M.F.A; acquired in a private sale 2005 to the present owner, a Gentleman from California.


Condition: Great condition ; the print is hinged to title paper.
