Andre Masson (French, 1896-1981), Manner of/ Attributed: Surreal Forms. Red and black pen and ink on paper, signed lower right, unframed.
Andre Masson was a French cubist and surrealist painter who was one of the pioneering figures and biggest proponents of automatic drawing. Many of his works were completed under altered states of consciousness.
