Signed lower right ”Harold Gretzner A.W.S.” Harold Gretzner was a Maryland-born watercolorist active in California, known for townscapes, coastal views, harbors, and regional landscapes painted in a transparent wet-into-wet watercolor style. He studied at the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland and was a member of the American Watercolor Society, California Water Color Society, West Coast Watercolor Society, and Society of Western Artists.
