Japanese Map of Feudal Castles Apparently Circa 1550 - A rare and early Japanese map, depicting the feudal castles of Owari province, including Kiyosu Castle, occupied by Shiba Yoshimune as governor of Owari and head of the Shiba Clan. Apparently of the period, dating to the late Muramasa period. Executed in black and red ink on handmade mulberry paper. Map was found in the documents of a Japanese immigrant to the west coast of the US that arrived in 1908. Approximately 37.375L x 26.0W in.
