John Deere cast iron hand - John Deere cast iron hand used to demonstrate the rate of corn planted (John Deere Part #Y1656). The horse-drawn planter was mounted onto a stand equipped with a motor. A mechanical device then dropped corn into the casting of a hand so the customer could see how many kernels dropped each time. The hand tripped at every dropping, giving customers a lesson on the precision of a Deere & Mansur planter. Frame measures 13.5”x15.5”H. * * Many items are eligible for in-house shipping.
