WW2 Colditz Escaper Pat Reid signed Book Winged Diplomat By P.R. Reid Signed First Edition 1962 R.A.F. Interest. No dust jacket. Inscribed inside To Bruno in appreciation from Pat July 1962. Patrick Robert Reid, MBE, MC was a British Army officer and author of history. As a British prisoner of war during the Second World War, he was held captive at Colditz Castle when it was designated Oflag IV-C. Reid was one of the few to escape from Colditz, crossing the border into neutral Switzerland in late 1942. Good Condition. All autographs come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
