Frans Bakker was a Dutch painter, draughtsman, watercolourist, and engraver, best known for his impressionistic depictions of landscapes, harbours, and village life in both the Dutch East Indies (modern-day Indonesia) and the Netherlands. Framed in black painted wood with gold gilt detailing.
