American Brilliant Period Cut Glass Electrified Girandole Lamp with Prisms - An American Brilliant Period (ABP) cut glass table lamp, also known as a girandole, featuring a multi-part crystal construction. The lamp consists of a dome-shaped fitter shade and a coordinating baluster-form base. The glass is decorated with intaglio-cut laurel leaf swags, hobstar bands, and frosted floral motifs located on the crest of the shade and the center of the base foot. A brass ring is mounted between the shade and base, supporting a full complement of clear glass prism luster drops with pointed terminals. The piece has been electrified for modern use and includes a white electrical cord and plug. No maker's marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the glass or brass components. Height: 12.5 inches.
