Leinbrock Werke Ideal Manual Wood and Metal Coffee Grinder - A German manual table-top coffee mill featuring a square wooden body with rounded corner pillars and a stepped base. The grinding mechanism is top-mounted with a decorative bell-shaped metal hopper and a sliding lid. The steel crank handle is finished with a turned wooden knob. A diamond-shaped metal plaque is affixed to the front of the wooden box with two small nails, embossed with the characters LEINBROCK-WERKE and AKT-GES below. The top of the metal hopper is embossed with LEINBROCK'S, Ideal in a cursive script, and D. R. G. M. at the base of the dome. A small pull-out drawer with a wooden knob is located at the front for collecting ground coffee. The wooden base measures 5 inches in width across the top plate and 5 inches in height to the top of the wooden plate. The total height including the crank mechanism is approximately 9 inches.
