Victorian Style Walnut Dresser with Tilting Mirror and Carved Foliate Pulls - A Victorian-style walnut dresser featuring a detachable landscape-oriented tilting oval mirror. The mirror is housed within a shaped wooden frame and yoke, supported by a pedestal base and secured with metal thumb-screws. The chest consists of two small handkerchief drawers situated on the top surface flanking the mirror base, one wide top drawer, and two full-width lower drawers. Each drawer face is decorated with an incised oval molding and features two hand-carved wooden pulls in a foliate and fruit motif, resembling grapes or berries. The dresser is constructed with walnut primary surfaces and light-colored softwood secondary wood for the drawer interiors. The drawers are joined with machine-cut dovetails, visible at the front corners. The piece stands on short legs with a decorative scalloped apron. A handwritten paper tag is present providing dimensions. No manufacturer marks, labels, or signatures are visible on the piece.
