Fostoria June Pattern Clear Glass 14-Inch Torte Plate - A large circular torte plate or salver produced by the Fostoria Glass Company in the June acid-etched pattern (No. 299). The plate is crafted from clear glass with a scalloped rim and a body divided into twelve radial segments by faint mold lines. The wide rim is decorated with an intricate acid etching featuring scrolling foliate motifs, floral clusters, and swags tied with small bows. The center of the plate features a pressed sunburst or starburst motif surrounded by a fluted, rayed ring. No maker marks, signatures, or permanent brand labels are visible on the glass. An included white paper tag with a reinforced eyelet bears the handwritten notation 14” DIAMETER in blue ink. Diameter: 14 inches.
