Large Oval Needlepoint Footstool with Floral Motif - A low profile, elongated oval footstool constructed with a stained hardwood frame. The top is upholstered in a hand-worked gros point needlepoint. The design features a central floral spray of roses in shades of pink, yellow, and orange with green leaves on a black ground, surrounded by a scrolling border. The upholstery is secured with black gimp trim and a perimeter of decorative brass-toned nailheads. The base frame is composed of joined wooden sections and rests on four turned bun feet.
