Cobalt Blue Cut-to-Clear Crystal Rose Bowl Vase - A large spherical rose bowl vase composed of cobalt blue glass cased over a clear lead crystal core. The exterior surface is decorated with a complex array of hand-cut geometric and stylized floral patterns. The rim is bordered by a series of large circular lens or thumbprint cuts. The central body features panels of fine diamond-point cross-hatching, stylized floral clusters composed of small circular facets, and sweeping curved miter cuts. A circular panel displays a stylized pinwheel motif. The lower section of the vase is finished with vertical fluting that tapers toward a short, flared foot. The base is decorated with a deeply cut 24-point starburst. No maker marks, acid-etched signatures, or country-of-origin marks are visible on the vessel.
