Paulux Hand Painted Porcelain Coach and Four Horse Figurine - A large decorative glazed porcelain figurine depicting an elaborate coach pulled by four rearing horses and steered by a driver dressed in 18th century style attire including a green coat and tricorn hat. The piece is modeled in the Rococo revival style featuring ornate scrolls, shell motifs, and floral decorations along the base. The color palette consists of pastel pink, light blue, and green with extensive hand applied gilt highlights throughout. The carriage is designed with a hollow interior. The horses are harnessed with orange textile cord reins. A small red stamp on the base reads PAULUX. The base also bears handwritten charcoal or pencil characters reading 960XD.
