Chinese Decorative Lidded Ceramic Jar with Reddish Brown Distressed Finish - This large decorative lidded jar is constructed of glazed ceramic. The vessel features a broad-shouldered ovoid form that tapers to a flared circular foot. It is topped with a matching domed lid featuring a small, flat-topped cylindrical finial. The exterior is finished with a reddish-brown glaze that exhibits prominent horizontal and circular brushstrokes, creating a textured, distressed appearance similar to weathered wood. The interior of the jar is coated in a dark, matte black glaze. The matte black underside of the base bears two adhesive labels. One label specifies that the item is for decorative purposes only, not for food use, and was made in China. The second white label contains handwritten alphanumeric codes K9a J407 and J/22-12K9a surrounding a stylized blue logo.
